DONALD B. MA (HK)
Hailing from Hong Kong to Sydney!

Living in densely-populated Hong Kong, where the pace is faster than the trains, how can one find humor to release? Turns out you can see the funny in the city… if you have Myopia. Or if you’re just getting old.

Hong Kong based comedian, Donald Ma, shares how living in Hong Kong all these years has taught him to laugh at himself, his own city, and how others view the city. And if you’re not from Hong Kong, you could find the funny easily… even without Myopia.

EMBER FLAME

SOLO SHOW

What does love when you’re a prudish stripper and ageing queer always nursing existential heartbreak?

In Solo, Australia’s burlesque poet Ember Flame explores her longing for connection – and equal fear of it – at a time when human connection may be all that can save us.

Expect comic storytelling, seductive micro-movements and poignant poetry.

Ember draws on all her talents and attachment traumas in a show that will make you laugh, think, possibly cry – and hopefully feel less alone.
